Sign your Management Agreement & we send the notice

Before we can give notice to your current agent, you'll need to sign your Rentnest Management Agreement. Once that's done, we review your existing agency contract and prepare and send the termination notice on your behalf.

Common concerns

Here are answers to frequently asked questions about switching agencies.

Most management agreements have a notice period rather than a lock-in period. We'll review your specific contract and advise you on the exit process.
Your lease agreement remains unchanged. Tenants receive updated bank details and contact information along with a professional introduction letter explaining the transition. They'll also receive a personal call from their senior property manager on the ground to introduce themselves and answer any questions.
Bonds remain held with the relevant state authority and don't need to be transferred. We'll request a full rental ledger and condition reports from your previous agency as part of the handover.
We can manage transfers from multiple agencies at once. We'll coordinate either simultaneous or staggered transfers depending on your notice periods, consolidating all properties into one dashboard.
Rentnest charges no transfer or setup fees. Your previous agency may have disbursement costs depending on your contract. We'll advise you of any potential costs during the review process.
